Work with different exporters
WooCommerce stores use different CSV export extensions and custom formats. OrderQuill does not require one fixed schema: map the order, SKU, quantity, item, shipping, bin, vendor, and note columns you have.
WooCommerce CSV fulfillment
Use the CSV produced by your order-export workflow, match its custom column names, and consolidate products across the orders you are ready to fulfill.

Exporter-friendly mapping
Different exporters and custom checkout fields create different schemas. Match fields by purpose instead of rebuilding the file around one rigid template.
WooCommerce stores use different CSV export extensions and custom formats. OrderQuill does not require one fixed schema: map the order, SKU, quantity, item, shipping, bin, vendor, and note columns you have.
Repeated SKUs are combined and sorted by an optional bin or shelf field, so the picker can collect the total quantity before products are separated into orders.
Each pick-list row retains its source order references, while packing slips regroup the line items by order and show available recipient and shipping details.
WooCommerce CSV mapping
Column names vary across WooCommerce export extensions. A one-row-per-line-item export is easiest to review, but the headers themselves do not need fixed spelling.
| Look for in your CSV | Map to OrderQuill | Used for |
|---|---|---|
| Order ID, order number, or order key | Order ID | Regroups line items into individual WooCommerce orders |
| Item SKU, product SKU, or variation SKU | SKU | Consolidates matching products across the pick list |
| Item quantity, quantity, or qty | Quantity | Totals the units to collect and pack |
| Shipping first/last name and shipping address fields | Customer and address fields | Creates the packing-slip recipient block |
| Warehouse bin, shelf, aisle, or location | Bin location | Sorts the consolidated pick list into a practical route |
Billing, coupon, tax, payment, and internal status columns can remain unmapped unless your team deliberately uses one as a packing note.
Platform workflow
WooCommerce order CSV structures depend on the exporter and custom format. Choose one-row-per-item output when available because it keeps SKU and quantity mapping clear.
WooCommerce official customer/order CSV export guide ↗Filter or select the orders you intend to pack and download a CSV from your current WooCommerce export extension. Include order number, line-item SKU, item name, and quantity at minimum.
Upload the file and map its headers. Optional billing fields can be ignored; map shipping fields for packing slips and a bin or location field for a more useful pick sequence.
Review missing quantities and SKUs, export the pick list for the warehouse, and print the corresponding slips. Keep fulfillment updates inside WooCommerce after packing.
Questions, answered
None specifically. OrderQuill accepts flexible headers. The export only needs an order identifier, quantity, and either a SKU or product name.
Map it to Order note when a text field contains the packing instruction you want to review. Other unmapped custom fields stay in the original CSV.
Yes. Map a bin, shelf, aisle, or location column and OrderQuill sorts the consolidated rows using that value.
