Five line items across three example orders · no real customer data
Minimum required columns
OrderQuill only needs three fields to create a consolidated pick list. Packing slips become more useful as you add item and shipping details.
| Field | Required? | Example | Used for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Order number | Yes | OQ-1001 | Grouping lines into one order |
| SKU or item name | Yes | MUG-SAGE | Grouping products on the pick list |
| Quantity | Yes | 2 | Total units to pick |
| Item name | Recommended | Stoneware mug | Readable packing documents |
| Customer and address | Optional | Jamie Rivera | Ship-to block on packing slips |
| Bin or location | Optional | A-03 | Faster warehouse picking |
How to use the template
- Download and open the file in Excel, Numbers, Google Sheets, or another spreadsheet editor.
- Replace the sample rows while keeping one line per order item. Repeat the order number when an order has multiple products.
- Export as UTF-8 CSV, then open it in OrderQuill and confirm the suggested field mapping.
Your own headers are fine
You do not have to rename a working export. The mapper accepts different header names, and it remembers your choices on the current device.
Turn the completed CSV into warehouse documents
Use the CSV pick list generator to group matching SKUs and total quantities, or open the bulk CSV packing slip generator to print one A4 or 4 × 6 slip per order. Platform-specific exports can follow the Shopify CSV workflow, Etsy sold-orders workflow, or Whatnot Show Report workflow.
